Hello America. We British often have a hard time trying to 'crack' the states. The great American population shun Oasis but go wild for Leona Lewis - go figure. Anyway, I'm sure that won't happen to us as you guys are obviously way more discerning than your average Yank.

For years Diesel-U-Music has strived to bring the best in new and unheard music to the attention of the masses � and there's no bigger or more important mass than New York. So we've teamed up with East Village Radio for a trans-Atlantic 'I'll-show-you-mine-if-you-show-me-yours' of new music. We've been up and running for about a week now, broadcasting on FM (87.7) and online from a pub in South East London and so far its been an unbridled success with artists from all over the world sticking their oar in along the way � and its only going to get better.

Plod Blotz and M.V. Carbon LIVE on Radio Heart May 20th 10-midnight

Oakland-based noise musician and visual artist Pod Blotz (Suzy Poling) and Brooklyn's own M.V. Carbon will perform on Radio Heart Tuesday May 20th. A temporary video installation will also be set up in the space for the evening, with a super 8 projector, plexiglass, and a screening of an experimental film directed by Poling and Carlos Gonzales (of Russian Tsarlag). Thirteen year old Ivan and his eleven year old sister Ada will be dropping by to play some tunes and chat with DJ Elhaam about their debut album Bang Bang Boom Cake, how it was working with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and their tips on balancing touring with homework. Múm's MR. SILLA co-hosts and plays LIVE Ukulele on ALL OVER THE SHOP

Fresh from her recent U.S. tour fronting múm, Mr. Sillais set to take it down a notch and bring her penchant for gorgeous ukulele covers to EVR. In addition, she'll be co-hosting the show which will be an all covers affair. So take an excursion upon the version with Mr. Silla this Saturday, MAY 10 from 6-8pm on ALL OVER THE SHOP.

EVR bids FARWELL to THE NERD TANK on FRIDAY NIGHTS

Well folks, it looks like EVR lost yet another fine gem of a show to Berlin. Last week Friday, Kevin McHugh played his last two hour set on EVR. (well... until further notice!!)
