Today, Candid is back, continuing the legacy with quality reissues and emerging artist releases. Label president, Alex Levy, discusses the rich history of Candid Records and NEA Jazz master, Grammy award winning, drummer, arranger and producer, Terri Lyne Carrington shares insights about her forthcoming, We Insist 2025! with Christie Dashiell, a reboot (out in June), of the essential, We Insist! with Max Roach Freedom Now Suite and Abbey Lincoln, from Candid, 1960. Also, Trumpeter, flugelhornist and composer, Milena Casado joins us in the booth and talks about her Candid Records debut (out May 16), Reflection of Another Self.
