
Artist, composer, engineer and polymath Kamran Sadeghi joins Neonlichter on a special one-off Playing Out Of Time this Sunday May 24 from 12-2 PM. Kamran’s previous works include plentiful solo works at museums, biennales, and festivals worldwide, solo and as a founding member + lead composer of Soundwalk Collective, (including the Louvre, Pompidou, Noguchi, CTM, National Musem of Singapore, and more); collaborations with Patti Smith, Nan Goldin, and Matthew Herbert; and releases on Apollo, Amenthia, Sacred Bones, Opal Tapes, and LINE among others. Locally he can be heard hosting Ritual Signal every 3rd Sunday on The Lot Radio, and the Playback informal listening sessions at Bar Laika in Fort Greene. He will be performing solo at Public Records on May 22nd, and premiering his new live project TAKT, a duo with Satoshi Tomiie, at Avant MUTEK in Toronto on May 30th, with their debut release Acid Futurism out on Syncrophone.
