Tune into Forty Deuce Friday, October 23rd 6-8pm ET as Capital Pete and Chip Love welcome international gypsy-punk superstar Eugene Hutz to the EVR booth. Frontman of Gogol Bordello, the Ukraine-born singer, songwriter, DJ, and actor cut his chops spinning at Bulgarian Bar in Chinatown, soon establishing his mult-culti band, playing lead in the Madonna-directed 2008 film Filth and Wisdom, and has been an active rep for both the East Village community and Ukraine. His own independent label Casa Gogol has issued releases by the likes of Puzzled Panther and Grace Bergere, and will also be chatting about the now-streaming Gogol documentary Scream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story, and his forthcoming memoir Lost Innocent World: Chronicles of a Ukrainian Punk Rocker in the Free World.
