Flanagan was instrumental in the city’s formative hardcore years, coming up with the idea of the Cro-Mags in 1981 while still in the Stimulators. Now, a brand new documentary  Harley Flanagan: Wired For Chaos, premieres at DOC NYC next Thursday and Max gets some insight into its making, plus recollections of growing up in the late 70’s NYC environs, the inception of its punk scene and more.
