Bad Brains’ Darryl Jenifer on Forty Deuce January 30th

Friday, January 30th 6-8pm, Capital Pete and Chip Love welcome legendary Bad Brains bassist Darryl Jenifer to Forty Deuce!  One of the most radical and genre-defying units of the hardcore era, Bad Brains sprung out of DC jn 1976, their electric presence anchored by Jenifer’s unparalled style influenced by everyone under the sun from Larry Graham to Geezer Butler. Forty Deuce will play tracks from his recent solo release Sacred Love/F.A.L.S. and recount war stories with him. Not to be missed and if you do, the archives will be up after the weekend here.
