Brazilian DJ Paulâo Visits The Cologne Affair May 23

Saturday, May 23th 10am ET/4pm CET on The Cologne Affair with Jan Lankisch: respected Brazilian DJ Paulão visited Cologne to play one of his eclectic vinyl sets, digging deep into the vast landscape of Brazilian musical roots and unearthing rare and historic gems along the way. Since 2006, he has toured across the globe, bringing funk, soul, and Brazilian rhythms to dance floors everywhere. Since 2024, he has also been running the renowned independent record store Patuá Discos in São Paulo, Brazil. After crate-digging through some local record stores in Cologne, Paulão came across Brazilian releases on Week-End Records, the label run by The Cologne Affair hosts — a discovery that ultimately led to this episode.
