Cassilda live on New Dark Ages, October 13th

New Dark Ages presents a live performance from Cassilda on East Village Radio on October 13th, between the hours of 10pm and midnight. Accompanying this performance, they will present a retrospective of archival and unreleased label selections from Attic Shrines.

Cassilda is an experimental tape music and dungeon synth project from the US characterized by a decayed, haunting atmosphere. Active since 2020, the project has released four cassette EPs, the latest arriving this year via Attic Shrines and Altare Productions.

Attic Shrines is a dark electronics label and distributor founded in 2017 and associated with projects including Magic Find, Ossa Coronata, and Morgue File. It has been a fixture of the 2000s dungeon synth revival, with releases spanning classic dungeon synth and all combinations and extremes of dark ambient, industrial, noise, black metal, and experimental electronics.

Weather permitting, we’ll have the door open at 19 First Avenue for all who want to come by and bask in the decomposing melodies of Cassilda in person for their first public live performance.
