
Thursday, April 9th 12-2pm ET on Morricone Youth: Colin Stetson discusses his latest release “Don’t Marry Him! SOMETHING VERY BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN,” the soundtrack for the Netflix psychological horror TV series released by Netflix Music digitally and on limited edition vinyl pre-order. Although known for his sax and clarinet work with extended techniques in multi-phonics, circular breathing, percussive key sounds and embouchure, and as a sideman for Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Anthony Braxton, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Arcade Fire and Laurie Anderson, Colin has composed for film and television, including Ari Aster’s “Hereditary,” Richard Stanley’s “Color Out Of Space” and Mark Mylod’s “The Menu,” and co-composed “Blue Caprice” and “Lavendar” with Sarah Neufeld of Arcade Fire.
