Wednesday, December 11th 2-4pm ET, host Eric Davidson invites producers Jason Stern and Don Fleming into the studio to discuss the new Lou Reed release on Light in the Attic, Why Don’t You Smile Now. This project continues a series of archival Lou releases, here focusing on his pre-Velvets days showcasing pop songs penned during his mid-60s stint as a staff songwriter for the long-defunct label Pickwick Records. Those in the noisy-know will know Fleming not only as a producer and seasoned archivist, but also a veteran of Half Japanese, and as singer/guitarist for ’90s noise-poppers Gumball and the Velvet Monkeys (and you can expect Eric to bug him on his minor stint in the Action Swingers!) Don’t miss!
