The Fall’s Mark E. Smith left this mortal coil seven years ago this week and in homage The Brian Turner Show assembles a two hour drift of rare live recordings, found sounds and interview snippets from 4-6pm ET on Wednesday January 29th. From 1977-2017, Smith and those who sailed with him generated an enormous body of work that maintained more peaks than most 40-year-old bands could muster in similar-length careers, remaining fiercely independent-minded even through passing major label periods. The Fall defied any cookie-cutter parameters set forth by their punk/post-punk peers, constantly evolving throughout the years. Join us revisiting different slices of the massive body of work MES left behind.
