Hailed by Pitchfork for balancing “the romantic dynamics of flamenco” with the rawness of improvised music, Lindahl’s playing is both intricate and unguarded. Ahead of releasing his forthcoming double album Joshua / Same Day Walking—recorded in California and Iceland with collaborators Robby Moncrieff and Sam Slater—he’ll bring his singular, “austere, gothic flamenco” sound (Uncut) to the airwaves for a live session and discussion.
