NYC DJ Duo Muscle Memory + DFA/Midnight Magic Fixture Andrew Raposo Visit Vocoder Radio May 13th

This Wednesday on Vocoder Radio, Muscle Memory and Andrew Raposo stop by to spin some tunes and chat about “Conditions of Love,” the latest Muscle Memory single, mixed by Raposo at his studio, La Piscina Recordings.

Muscle Memory is an NYC band and DJ duo weaving together early house, Italo disco, and post-punk with modern club sounds heavy on deep grooves and sexy vibes. They’ve released a string of 12” singles featuring remixes by NYC dance music stalwarts including Justin Strauss, Woolfy, Eli Escobar, and Midnight Magic.

New York City native Andrew Raposo is best known as a crazy dog dad, for his work with DFA Records, and as a founding member of cosmic dancefloor stalwarts Midnight Magic. Raposo continues to tour both on stage and in the DJ booth, bringing post-punk, psychedelic disco, and haunted-house sounds to sweaty basements and debaucherous mountain chalets around the world.
