On the next Is This Afrobeats? show Dec 26th 10pm ET, Modrums will be joined by Pablo Blanco, a Garifuna cultural historian and activist. They’ll be listening to Garifuna traditional and popular music, highlighting the evolution of Garifuna music and discussing the ubiquitous nature of Garifuna rhythms in Caribbean music.
