The Legendary Swamp Dogg’s New Film, and Visit To Confessions Of A Selector with Tim ‘Love’ Lee May 8th

Tune in to Tim ‘Love’ Lee Thursday, May 8th from 2-4pm ET when the amazing Swamp Dogg stops by Confessions Of A Selector! Swamp Dogg’s legend rolls back to early days under his real name Jerry Williams Jr., where his musical zone traversed many lines of soul, R&B and country. In 1970 he became Swamp Dogg and threw his hat into the incoming radical funk underground ring with his Total Destruction To Your Mind LP, embarking thereafter on a wild ride. The new Magnolia Pictures documentary Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted arrives at IFC Center Friday and Saturday May 9th and 10th and chronicles his suburban L.A. household shared with friends Moogstar and Guitar Shorty, transforming the place into an artistic playground. Together, they navigate the tumultuous music industry, forging a unique and inspiring bond across time and space and are joined by the likes of John Prine, Jenny Lewis, Mike Judge, and Johnny Knoxville. Swamp Dogg also performs on the 10th at TV Eye!
