The Space Lady Lands On The Cologne Affair June 28th

The Space Lady is a truly unique phenomenon. Born as Susan Dietrich in 1948 in Pueblo, Colorado, the artist began performing music on the streets of Boston and San Francisco in the early 1970s, quickly gaining a growing fan base. While solo performers often hit the limits of what’s possible, this is not the case with Dietrich. She manages to infuse each of her cover songs with her unmistakable charm, revealing the beauty of an intimate rendition of tracks we might otherwise consider overloaded or kitschy. Since the 2000s, she has been rediscovered and has increasingly toured around the world.
