Tuareg Post-Punk Band TAKAAT Curates Purplish Radio April 11th

Friday the 11th on Mikey Coltun’s Purplish Radio at 8am ET: This month’s guest curator (starts at 1 hour into the show) is Tuareg Post-Punk band TAKAAT! TAKAAT (pronounced tuh-cot), meaning “noise” in the Tuareg language Tamashek, is the trio of Ahmoudou Madassane, Mikey Coltun, and Souleymane Ibrahim, also known as the rhythm section of Mdou Moctar. Starting one hour into the show you’ll hear all things TAKAAT!
