Two new additions to the schedule kicking off with summer: WAX & WAYNE starts off bi-weekly Mondays at 2pm ET on June 8th. Jim Filer Coleman is your host, who we know from NYC’s Cop Shoot Cop, Human Impact and more, as well as having composed film for directors like Beth B, Todd Philips, Hal Hartley and Richard Kern. He recently guested on Two Hours In Tongues, and promises his own show to be “dark sonic pinball. A genre clashing mix of post-post rock, electronic, ambient, Afro-Cuban, contemporary classical and soul. Micro-samples of spoken words and field recordings provide periodic commentary and connection through each shows journey.”
Secondly, we welcome DJ Madeline who debuts Friday, June 12th at midnight with DUSTED AND SOCIAL bi-weekly. The D&S site has long been a fave for scoping out a dizzying array of new music from electronic/compositional/pop/art-rock/experimental worlds, futurist beats and freeform assembly included. As with all shows on EVR, they will be archived on Mixcloud to check out anytime, but tune in live and get in the chat!
