Morricone Youth’s DJ Devon E. Levins celebrates May Day 2025 12pm ET with a film music tribute to the “Citizen Kane of Horror Movies,” director Robin Hardy’s 1973 British folk horror masterpiece The Wicker Man, starring Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland. The soundtrack was composed by New Jersey-ian Paul Giovanni and performed by the band Magnet, formed specifically for the film, which includes folk and traditional English, Celtic and Scottish songs performed diegetically by the cast and characters in the film. Devon will take a deep listen to the soundtrack itself followed by the music that the film and its score continue to inspire and influence 50-plus years later.
