William Hooker Visits The East Village Radio Jazz Show March 28th

On release day, Friday 28th of March, innovative free-jazz drummer, composer and poet, William Hooker will drop into the booth to unveil his new album, “A Time Within”, that features Alan Braufman (alto saxophone) and the late David Ware (tenor saxophone). The album released on Valley of Search was recorded at the New York Jazz Museum on January 14 1977. In addition to some selections from the new album, William Hooker will share some insights, antidotes and favorite records with host Jason Wald, 2-4PM on The East Village Radio Jazz Show.
