This Saturday 9/27, Max Gordon interviews the Bush Tetras and Los Microwaves on Downtown Saturday Night, 10pm to midnight ET! The legendary post-punk groups join East Village Radio in advance of their co-headlining October 4th gig at the Market Hotel to talk gear, the East Village, and growth as bands after loss and changing lineups. It’s the first time both bands have played together, and Los Microwaves’ first show in town since 1983 with original members David Javelosa, Caroline Galanty, along wiith Greg Langston of No Alternative and Matt Comeione of Nervous Gender. Max chats with David along with the Tetras’ singer Cynthia Sley and guitarist Pat Place (who also tore it up with James Chance and the Contortions!)
