Calla on Declared Goods Saturday, November 16th

This Saturday on Declared Goods with Greg Vegas 6-8pm ET we’ll have Aurelio Valle of NYC band Calla in for an interview and pick some choice tunes – including Calla’s new single “Pick Your Battles”!  Calla were active in the eclectic and post-punk musical landscape of Texas via New York City and Brooklyn from 1996-2007, releasing critically acclaimed albums on Young God, Sub Rosa, Arena Rock And Beggars Group. They had toured with the likes of Interpol, The Walkmen, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, The National, Secret Machines, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Cat Power and many others -leaving an impressive legacy that continues with their new album.
