EVR Alumni DJ Still Life Visits Top Notch on September 28th

This Sunday benYC will be joined by EVR alumni DJ Still Life on Top Notch. With over twenty years of DJing and record collecting under his belt, DJ Still Life (Stephen Bolles) is part of a subset of DJs who learned the craft on turntables and vinyl, inspired by the hands-on approach of the Bronx originators and hip-hop’s golden era. Originally from California’s Bay Area, he founded NYC’s only party dedicated to West Coast hip-hop, Str8 West Coastin. His former East Village Radio show ‘Worldwide Smash,’ which ran from 2008 until the station temporarily closed in 2015, focused on leftfield electronic music, hip-hop, and breakbeats. By day, Stephen helps source and license music for use in advertising, film and television via a role at Universal Music.
