Monday, March 23rd 6-8pm ET on our Bandcamp X East Village Radio show, we explore the world of Upset The Rhythm.If you’ve followed underground music in London to any degree over the last few decades, you’ll almost certainly have heard of Upset The Rhythm. Founded in 2003, Upset The Rhythm are a live music promoter who’ve to date put on over 1,500 shows in the UK capital. That’s roughly a couple of shows every week for the last 20 years, covering everything from U.S. indie (Future Islands, Mount Eerie, Deerhoof), avant-garde noise (Wolf Eyes, Keiji Haino, Yellow Swans), underground UK folk (Quinie, Tristwch y Fenywod, Goblin Band), and the latest bunch of wonky DIY upstarts on the block.
